WHERE WE ARE
	La Fourquerie is a country cottage sent in the heart beautiful countryside of the Dordogne area of France. It is run by an English couple who are offering a "Home from Home" holiday, but in France. You will be staying in your own small apartment complete with Bathroom and Toilet. You will be made to feel really welcome and offered some excellent Home cooking is on offer.		The area is is only a 30 minutes from the airport, but you would never know it in this lovely part of France. There lots of local activities which include Horse Riding, Cycling and Walking. Travel a little further a field and will find many thing to do and visit including areas of natural beauty, buildings historic interest and wonderful French Villages and Towns
La Fourquerie is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty. With many places to explore and yet even more to relax and enjoy.		If you are looking for a holiday where you can relax and enjoy the pleasantries of the French Countryside then look no further.		The owner aim to give you the holiday that you want, by making you feel welcome, providing you with good food and helping organise your activities.
You will be staying: 3 minutes to the nearest restaurant, but don't forget you can have home cooking too! 5 minutes to the shops including bakery, pharmacy and a small supermarket Lalinde with its many shops is also only 10 minutes away, a little further on is Bergerac or St Lyrien.. The beautiful medieval towns of Sarlat, Montignac, Perigueux and Bergerac and 10 hill-top bastide towns are only between 20-60 minutes drive. Bordeaux, Toulouse, St Emilion, and Limoges are under 2 hours away. Biarritz, The Pyrenees and Spain are a 3-4 hour drive. A car is highly recommended and can be hired from the Airports etc.. You will then have the freedom and independence to see the numerous and beautiful sites in the area. We can provide you with a GPS unit to find your way home. Getting Here By Air:- - Bergerac (50minutes) from many airports via RyanAir or FlyBe - Bordeaux (90 minutes) – BA, EasyJet - Limoges or Toulouse (2hrs) By Car:- – Eurotunnel or Ferry to several French ports.
